Yesterday, we went to the Roseau County Fair to watch Matt's baby sister show her 4-H steer. Actually, she's 15, just the baby of her family. She's a super gal...a fun auntie and always willing to help people out. Anyway, we went to watch her show her steer. We arrived at the fair hoping to get there in time for the 1 o'clock show. Turns out, with the bad weather they'd had, the cattle show was postponed 2 hours.
Two hours later, after some fairfood lunch, some visiting, watching the pig and sheep shows, and trying to entertain my increasingly tired children, it was time for the cattle show. Mary did very well...her steer looked nice and she did a good job showing it. She smiled at the judge, answered her questions well, set her steer up nice and square, and didn't let him freak out and run out of the ring. She did so well that she won a state fair trip with her steer. Way to go, Mary!!! We're a fair-loving family...we love fairs so much, we go to as many as we can...so, we're all pumped to head to the state fair the end of August! Thanks, Mary. Without you, I wouldn't be able to go to the state fair this year. This means Matt has to go...he HAS to help you...you HAVE to make him go to help you...just for me, so that I can go to the state fair this year.
Thanks, love your big sis
Just for fun, here's a picture of Adina. She's lovely, in every way possible.

She's so cute!! I think she wants to be a big sister soon... :)
ReplyDeleteI know for sure she'd like to be a big COUSIN soon, whether 1st or 2nd, it doesn't matter...she loves COUSINS! And she'll be a big sister someday, don't worry! :)
