He's been talking to my dad a lot lately...about farming, dad's new shop that he's helped with, the cows, haying, spraying fields, etc. He hasn't been talking about hunting, and he hasn't been out to eastern Montana lately...this was about 4-5 years ago.
He's been hunting - not in eastern Montana in the fall and not for pelvic bones - but for dry hay fields to cut, cows that need doctoring, and for aphids in the soybean fields.
He's been fixing equipment - not combines and not with others' help - but the mower conditioner. Ugh! What a tough year for Matt...he's been fixing that thing nonstop! Please pray that we can make it through the rest of haying without another major breakdown. I don't know if the poor guy can handle it.
Just kidding.
He can, he just doesn't want to!
He's been playing softball every Monday night...he's oh so good, most of the time, and fun to watch!
He's been his usual charming self...most of the time!
Summer is stressful...I get that!
I just go with the flow!
Things work best that way...
He was in his cousins' wedding at the end of June. He made one HANDSOME usher!
I'm a lucky lady!
And, that, friends, is what Matt's been up to...
along with fixing the mower conditioner, fixing the mower conditioner, and checking/moving/doctoring cows.
P.S. He just called...I have to go get him. The mower conditioner broke again. Seriously, guys...send up a few prayers!!! :)))
