Adina and I are headed to GF today for a little girl time. The boys are at Finneys helping work cows (Clarence gets to play with all Henry's cool animals and fences!). Clarence had no interest in going with me, so I was happy to send him with Matt. It'll sure make my day easier!
Mark P. came over last night and helped us get the back of the house filled and leveled and ready to set up forms for the cement for our addition. I'm getting excited! It's going to be bigger than we'd originally planned, to make room for a bedroom for Matt and me. I know it'll be a slow process, but I'll definitely make use of it even if it's just sheetrock and plywood floors. It'll be nice to have the extra space and storage and to have my washer and dryer close instead of in the basement. Yay...I get excited and picture things just writing about it.
Matt had a lot of help over the weekend, so he feels better about the whole tons-of-work situation here. We've finished hauling manure (at least enough to finish a field), the yard is picked up a little, he's fenced a little along the river so he can electrify it and maybe keep the cows in that way, Mark's been over to help with the back of the house....we've been getting a lot done quickly with all the help we've gotten over the weekend.
