Ideas

I love looking at home decorating magazines, pouring over the pictures, thinking about ways to incorporate those ideas in my own home.  I love Better Homes and Gardens, Country Living,  and even Taste of Home had a kitchen in this month's issue that I have fallen in love with. 

No matter what kind of room I look at, I find ideas I'd like to try.......bathrooms with clawfoot tubs - I have a clawfoot tub out in my quonset that I am going to refinish, and I found a tub on pinterest that I want it to look like; bathrooms with painted wainscoating; kitchens with big farmhouse sinks; cozy living rooms; houses with good use of space; little libraries/sitting areas with book shelves all along one wall - Oh, I'd just die to have something like that!  (Not literally!)  All things I'd love to incorporate into my own house.


Then, I think about the price tag that goes along with all those fun/creative ideas......and I wonder if it will ever be possible....?

Will we ever be able to afford something more?


And, does it really matter?

Now I'm sounding all materialistic, but whatever......I think it's something women always think about - different ways to change/update/improve their houses.

Well, here's to a few more years of wishing, planning and dreaming of the days to come when I can turn those ideas into reality!
