What's in store for you this year?
A new job? house? baby?
For us, I think this year will be very similar to last year......
I'll be subbing, doing church stuff, and teaching piano until school's out in May.
March 1st, we leave with my family for Big Sky, Montana, for a fun skiing vacation. We're staying in the same cabin we stayed in last year. It's beautiful. I didn't get pictures of it last year, but with my new camera this year, you can bet there will be tons of great pictures. The cabin has four double/queen beds, a set of bunk beds, a pull-out couch, two kitchens, two living areas, and two bathrooms. And, when you look out the windows to the West, there's a great view of Lone Peak. It's beautiful!
When we get home from that, we'll start calving; as usual, we're hoping and praying for a successful year with the weather and healthy cows and calves.
We hope to add on to the house.....
There's fieldwork, seeding, etc.
Then, Haying.........all summer long.
In June, I'm in my cousin Savannah's wedding - I'm a bridesmaid, Matt's an usher. That'll be a fun way to start off the summer.
We hope the summer will be full of nice weather, just enough rain, healthy crops, a nice garden, and time to go camping as a family.
I'm sure there will be many exciting things happening throughout the year; however, I don't want to get too far ahead of myself.
I want to enjoy each day as I have it and not rush forward thinking of days (or months) to come.
Have a great 2012. I hope it brings you many new, wonderful adventures!
