A Three-Year Old's Prayer

Clarence prayed his own prayer at bedtime tonight...here's how I remember it.

C: Dear Yord, calves, cows...

Me: Say 'thank you for calves'.....

C: Thank You for calves. Thank you for cows. Thank you for bulls. Thank you for horses. Thank you for shickens. Thank you for bulls.

Me: What about family?

C: Family. Thank you for family. Grandma Yuli? 

Me: Yes, and everyone else. 

C: No, everyone no my family.

Me: Ok, just family, then.

C: Amen.

C:  (gets under covers).....Dear Yord, Amen.

Meanwhile, Adina jumped around here and there, then bowed her head, folded her hands, and made noises like she was praying.  Then, she looked up at me, clapped her hands, and said "Amah".    Good girl, Dia!  and good job praying tonight, Clarence!
